Self Care is a basic need.

We have a pretty good understanding that people need to take care of basic needs first.

Although we have this understanding, we’re not always so understanding with ourselves. We often think we need to take care of everyone else, finish our to do list and THEN we can take care of ourselves.

When we practice self care, we have a greater capacity for managing stress.

Here’s the great news! With mindfulness, we learn self care practices that do not take a lot of time and are available to us at any moment.
